Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Temporary Works Coordinator for the Hinkley Point C site in Somerset. This site-based role manages temporary structures, ensuring safety, compliance and seamless integration with design and delivery teams.

You will enforce CDM 2015 and BS 5975 guidelines, review design packages, coordinate with TWD/TWS and client, and maintain a live on-site register and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• TWCTC qualification and relevant engineering degree or diploma.
• Deep understanding of BS 5975 and CDM 2015.
• Experience managing Temporary Works Registers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed briefs capturing site constraints.
• Ensure designs are created by qualified engineers.
• Check and approve all calculations and design packages before execution.
• Coordinate temporary structures with permanent building designs.
• Act as the primary link between designers and site teams.
• Maintain live onsite registers and monthly client reports.
• Halt operations if temporary structures are unsafe.
• Review and sign off on plan modifications.
