Job summary

Peak Technologies in Chippenham is seeking a hands-on Technician to join our warehouse operations on a temporary, on-site basis, with ASAP start.

You will configure, test and repair handheld devices, set up smartphones, tablets and laptops for customer deployment, and support the wider team.

This role offers practical tech experience and a potential extension beyond the initial contract if business needs continue.

Qualifications

• Interest in technology and electronics.
• Experience setting up smartphones, tablets, laptops or other devices is advantageous.
• Able to work without supervision in a warehouse.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Configure and stage devices and handheld technology ready for customer deployment.
• Diagnose and carry out basic repairs on, handheld scanners and other devices.
• Perform device testing and quality checks.
• Install software, updates and configurations as required.
• Prepare devices for shipping and deployment.
• Support the wider warehouse and operations team as needed.
