Job summary

Infinitesima in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, seeks a Goods In and Stock Controller to manage incoming goods, stock control, and kit production for medical/semiconductor metrology systems. You will maintain the stock database, coordinate with Manufacturing and Purchasing, and ensure builds are fully kitted and documented.

This role emphasizes accuracy, organisation, and hands-on stock responsibility. The position is on-site in Abingdon, with a focus on precise stock management, calibration, and PAT

Qualifications

• Qualification in computing or IT skills or [N] years’ relevant stores, stock control or manufacturing experience.
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings.
• Fluent written and spoken technical English.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Able to work in a busy small team and support Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Check the quality of mechanical parts as they arrive, and control stock in and out of stores.
• Set up and maintain the stock database.
• Kit assemblies for production builds, cleaning parts when required.
• Prepare materials for packing and goods out, and return rejected stock for RMA, completing the paperwork.
• Work with the Manufacturing Manager and Purchasing to maintain a sensible stock level.
• Take ownership of calibration and PAT testing for the business.
