Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Static Fabric / GMO Maintenance Engineer for the Essex site. You will deliver high-quality facilities management, maintaining building fabric, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and glazing, while coordinating with M&E engineers and the account team.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, CAFM logging, and ensuring safety compliance, with a focus on SLA/KPI targets and on-site collaboration within an IFM framework.

Qualifications

• Essential: City & guilds / NVQ in Carpentry, Joinery, construction & building.
• Essential: 10 years’ experience in a similar field.
• Desirable: Time served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Health and Safety—Experience on ATAX sites, working at height, manual handling, asbestos awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on static fabric elements.
• Inspect and log defects, hazards, or deterioration and action within CAFM system.
• Log work orders, close tickets and maintain accurate records.
• Support minor works, space reconfigurations and fit-out activities as needed.
