Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment and to diagnose faults in a live distribution warehouse.

The role emphasizes health and safety, adherence to policies, and developing on-site apprentices while improving equipment uptime across EU sites. Based on-site in Milton Keynes, you will work with senior colleagues on day-to-day maintenance, respond to downtime events, and implement long-term improvements, including

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
• Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites
