Job summary

Amazon Uk Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and workspace while upholding Health and Safety best practices. You’ll help keep colleagues safe and prevent downtime, boosting availability and equipment quality.

Based on site in the UK, you’ll perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, support apprentices, and contribute to continuous improvement across EU sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics (or 4-year UK certified apprenticeship) is required.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing (English).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
