Job summary

Amazon Uk Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain site equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety standards. This role focuses on preventing downtime, improving equipment availability, and enhancing the operational environment across our Reading sites.

You will perform proactive maintenance, diagnose faults in a live warehouse, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvements. On-site shifts and exposure to automation and packaging systems are expected.

Qualifications

• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
