National Grid in Leicester is seeking a proactive Refurbishment Centre Logistics Coordinator to provide administrative, planning and procurement support for refurbishment activities across workshop and site operations. The role involves coordinating staff, plant, materials and suppliers, maintaining stock, and ensuring resources meet delivery targets.

On-site five days a week, with early shifts. Candidates should be organised, have strong communication, and be comfortable with ERP tools like S4

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates ability as a good team worker with strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Demonstrates the ability to work accurately within deadlines and act on their own initiative.
• Proficient with standard PC based packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Internet) and able to quickly acquire competency with NG planning/finance tools (S4 Hanna/Maximo/Coupa).
• Logical thinker with aptitude to solve problems as they arise.
• Team-oriented, able to work across the Refurbishment Centre to ensure resources are available when needed.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with substation staff to coordinate refurbishment activities.
• Create orders for all refurbishment OMGS using S4 Hanna and Coupa.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with procurement rules and procedures.
• Liaise with finance on any PO queries that may arise.
• Maintain and sustain stock levels in the Refurb Centres.
• Carry out rolling stock counts to ensure stock integrity.
• Manage relationships with 3PL partners to maintain stock position.
