Job summary

Kier Rail is seeking an MEP Technical Supervisor to support the Rail team nationwide, overseeing mechanical and electrical installations on construction projects. This on-site role ensures compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements while maintaining detailed site records and coordinating with subcontractors.

This position requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, along with CSCS and a relevant M&E qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E building services and E&P installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and health & safety requirements.
• CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and inspecting M&E/E&P and SISS installations to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and industry standards
• Conducting routine and ad hoc inspections, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintaining detailed site records, including inspection reports, site instructions, and progress photos
• Overseeing, witnessing and verifying testing and commissioning activities to ensure system performance meets design intent
• Acting as the link between the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination
