Job summary

VIVO Defence seeks a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support core services and Billable Works across complex facilities management contracts. You will provide cost control, risk management and contractual guidance to operational colleagues while ensuring value for money and compliance.

You will develop cost models, review proposals, manage change, and ensure milestone payments and final accounts align with targets. Strong stakeholder relationships and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in FM/construction cost planning and tendering.
• Four+ years in FM or construction with commercial exposure.
• Health and safety awareness and professional membership (RICS/CIOB) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost control across reactive and project works.
• Develop cost models and price works proposals.
• Manage change in line with contract requirements.
• Ensure milestone payments and final accounts are achieved.
• Monitor supplier performance and payments per contract policy.
• Attend risk meetings and support risk management processes.
