Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for luxury residential construction projects across Wiltshire and Bristol. You will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, programme compliance and quality workmanship.

The role requires hands-on site leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to travel along the M4 corridor between Wiltshire and Bristol. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong background in high-end residential construction.
• Experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of high-end residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and progress reports.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship, quality and attention to detail.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed across all site activities.
• Monitor costs, manage variations and help maintain commercial control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project issues to minimise delays and disruption.
• Oversee inspections, snagging and handover to ensure a high-quality finished product.
