Job summary

Chesterfield Poultry is seeking a Procurement and Projects Manager to lead end-to-end procurement in a food manufacturing setting. You will source materials, negotiate supplier contracts, and drive cost efficiencies while ensuring quality and supply continuity.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, expertise in procurement, and knowledge of food safety and regulatory standards. It is an on-site, full-time position based in Doncaster with a structured procurement function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and SLAs to achieve best value.
