Job summary

Amey is hiring a permanent Plumber for HMP Sudbury. The role offers a salary of £30,866 to £36,135 per year, with 39 hours per week and a 3-week rota between 08:00-17:00 and occasional weekend work with a 15% allowance. On-site location at DE6 5HW, UK.

Join a visible Facilities Management team delivering critical services for prisons across the UK. Role requires routine and non-routine maintenance, mains water repairs, fault finding and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a plumber in facilities management or prison environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work a 39-hour week on a rota basis.
• Valid plumbing qualifications and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Mains water supply repairs.
• Fault finding, identifying life expired equipment, repair and fault restoration.
• Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
