Job summary

Protec Fire & Security Group Ltd. is expanding its team with opportunities for Fire & Security Install Supervisors, Technical Supervisors, and Project Engineers (Custodial) on a new build prison project.

You will lead on-site delivery, manage programmes, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors in a fast-paced, high-security environment. Responsibilities include health and safety leadership, collaboration with design and manufacturing, and ensuring quality across installations and

Qualifications

• A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
• Fire and security industry experience (installation, commissioning or administration).
• Experience working in a prison environment.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of projects on site from start to completion.
• Keep construction programmes on track and update stakeholders.
• Manage on-site installations and coordinate with sub-contractors and clients.
• Lead health & safety duties, including toolbox talks and safe starts.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and other departments to meet deadlines.
• Identify potential issues early and resolve quickly.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
• Sign off quality assurance checks and maintain high standards.
• Delegate tasks effectively while keeping the team motivated.
• Carry out pre-commissioning and minor install tasks where needed.
