Job summary

FAFS Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex Fire & Security projects across diverse clients in the UK. You will own projects from award to handover, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget control and high quality standards, while providing senior client contact and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the Fire & Security industry.
• Proven track record managing complex commercial projects valued £100k–£1M+.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Detection, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms and integrated security systems.
• Experience managing engineers, subcontractors and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills: budget control, forecasting and margins.
• Solid understanding of British Standards, regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple Fire & Security projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Maintain full commercial responsibility: forecasting, cost control and margin performance.
• Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects comply with British Standards and industry regulations.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews, commissioning and issue resolution.
• Lead project teams and subcontractors with a focus on accountability and quality.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance to support delivery.
• Support tender reviews and growth opportunities within existing accounts.
