Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment requires a Mechanical Inspector in Esher, London, United Kingdom. The role is on-site, permanent, offering £18.00 - £20.00 per hour with a long-term development focus.

Ideal candidates will inspect parts to drawings and tolerances, use verniers, micrometers and CMM equipment, and work closely with production to ensure ISO and aerospace-grade quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical inspection within manufacturing or precision engineering.
• Aerospace experience is desirable.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards; aerospace quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of precision components.
• Inspect components against drawings, specifications and tolerances.
• Use inspection equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and CMM where applicable.
• Identify and report dimensional discrepancies or non-conformances.
• Document inspections accurately and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and maintain standards.
