Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Quality Inspector for a precision engineering company based in Havant. The role focuses on mechanical and visual inspection of high-precision parts, including first-off inspections, within an AS9100 environment.

You will inspect with manual methods and CMM as required, and prepare First Article Inspection Reports, SCARs and NCRs. Timely submission of quality documentation through customer portals is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a precise, detail-driven manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of inspection techniques and quality documentation.
• Understanding of technical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and visual inspection of parts (pre- and post-treatment), including first-off inspections.
• Work within an AS9100-compliant quality management system to deliver robust components on time and with precision.
• Inspect using manual measuring methods and CMM where required.
• Prepare and issue customer-required paperwork, including First Article Inspection Reports, SCARs, NCRs and other documentation.
• Submit quality documentation through customer portals accurately and on time.
