Job summary

Bloor Homes is recruiting an experienced Site Operative to join our Midlands team, based at Stafford, ST18 9TH. You will assist the Site Manager and trades to maintain the highest standards on-site.

Duties include monitoring stock levels, keeping welfare and compound facilities clean, supporting health and safety measures, and attending meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy construction site as a Site Operative.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Keeping an eye on stock levels and informing the Site Manager/Assistant Site Manager when low.
• Maintain cleanliness across the site, including welfare and compound facilities.
• Possibility of acting as first aider onsite.
• Assist with health & safety measures such as pedestrian routes, perimeter fencing, fall protection, and site shutdown procedures.
• Attend meetings as required in the performance of duties.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional tasks as reasonably required.
• Ensure health and safety aspects of Covid-19.
