Job summary

Health Partners is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to work on-site at a client site in Plymouth, performing health surveillance assessments and recording results to support wellbeing programs using an MMU. A full UK manual driving licence is required, with driving of the MMU preferred when possible.

Qualifications

• No formal professional qualification required; suitable backgrounds include Health Care Assistant, Fitness Instructor, Ambulance EMT, Military Medic.
• A full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Experience with health surveillance or screening is desirable.
• Willingness to work on-site at client locations in Plymouth.

Responsibilities

• To undertake health screening procedures including baseline measurements and health surveillance.
• Ensure medical information is accurately recorded and passed to clinical staff.
• Keep equipment serviceable, clean and calibrated; monitor performance indicators.
• Work within set protocols and escalate queries outside the role to clinical staff.
