Job summary

Health Partners, a leading UK occupational health provider, seeks an Occupational Health Technician to support high-quality health surveillance services on-site. You will perform health screenings, manage records, ensure equipment readiness, and assist with health promotion activities while following defined protocols.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and involves working at client sites with an MMU.

Qualifications

• No recognised professional qualification is required; suitable backgrounds include Health Care Assistant, Fitness Instructor, Ambulance EMT, Military Medic, Offshore Medic.

Responsibilities

• Undertake health screening procedures including baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis), audiometry, lung function testing and drug/alcohol testing.
• Record medical information in occupational health records and pass to clinical staff for interpretation and management.
• Ensure equipment is serviceable, clean and calibrated; monitor equipment performance indicators such as vaccine fridge temperatures.
• Work within defined protocols and direct queries outside competencies to clinical staff.
• Undertake non-clinical tasks (e.g., filing) as required and participate in health promotion activities and First Aid training.
