Job summary

Occupational Health Staffing are recruiting an Occupational Health Technician to work in Plymouth on a full-time fixed-term contract for 12 months, with regional travel and occasional nationwide trips.

You will undergo a 3‑week training and induction programme, with ongoing mentoring from the team. The role involves driving a mobile medical unit (MMU) and performing health surveillance at client sites, with overnight stays when required.

• Requires willingness to travel regionally with occasional nationwide travel.
• 3‑week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU).
• Perform health surveillance duties including audiometry, spirometry, height/weight/BMI, blood pressure, urinalysis, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Be flexible to travel to client sites and accommodate overnight stays.
• Park the unit at or near home address as needed.
• Maintain a six‑week view of diary schedules in advance.
