Job summary

Drs Direct Ltd is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to travel to client sites to conduct health assessments and operate the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU). The role supports health surveillance activities, conducts tests (audiometry, lung function) and ensures compliance with HSE guidance.

You will prepare equipment, maintain records, and assist with clinic setup. The position requires a full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and strong IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (or valid EU licence for UK).
• Experience working as an OHT.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Proficient IT skills (MS Office) to manage reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various client sites to conduct occupational health assessments and screenings.
• Transport and operate the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to deliver health services.
• Deliver health surveillance activities in line with HSE guidance.
• Undertake tests such as audiometry and lung function.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and kit for site visits.
• Assist with mobile clinics and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Record test results accurately and maintain documentation.
• Ensure client consent forms and records are securely stored.
• Support the clinical team with technical duties as required.
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts as needed.
• Handle general administration to run the service efficiently.
• Occasionally work away and overnight when required.
