Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for on-site work at Mercedes-AMG. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance and general mechanical duties to keep facilities and equipment safe and operational.

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is preferred, with a strong mechanical background and excellent client-facing communication. The position offers an immediate start on an initial 20-week contract, with a strong potential to transfer to permanent employment at

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance background.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Client-focused with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site.
• Undertake general mechanical maintenance and plumbing repairs.
• Identify faults and carry out reactive maintenance when required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues.
• Deliver a professional, client-focused maintenance service.
• Respond to maintenance requests and minimise disruption to site operations.
• Participate in an on-call rota, covering two weeks at a time.
