Job summary

Mercedes-AMG in the United Kingdom is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to work on-site. The role focuses on planned maintenance and repairs, with a strong emphasis on safety and high standards of service.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent, solid mechanical maintenance experience, and the ability to work flexibly across shifts including weekends and on-call periods. Immediate start offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent is required.
• Solid mechanical maintenance experience and familiarity with PPM and reactive tasks.
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Client-focused with clear communication and flexible to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the site.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance and plumbing repairs.
• Identify faults and carry out reactive maintenance when needed.
• Ensure maintenance is done safely and records are accurate.
• Provide a professional, client-focused service and minimise downtime.
• Respond to requests and support on-call rota.
