Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Maritime Engineering Technical Superintendent to join on-site in Portchester. You will oversee vessel maintenance planning, provide technical direction for compliance, and act as the go-to contact for Vessel Managers across platforms, driving improvements and ensuring availability.

The role requires hands-on maritime engineering experience, strong problem solving, and STCW III/2 or III/3 certification, with a focus on Class/Flag/IMO/ISM/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Marine engineering experience and knowledge.
• STCW certificate of competency STCW III/2 or STCW III/3.
• Knowledge of Class, Flag, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, the ISM Code and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overview of vessel operational performance and maintenance planning.
• Provide technical direction to maintain compliance with regulatory rules.
• Act as single point of contact for Vessel Managers across platforms.
• Advise Chief Engineers on actions to take when vessels encounter issues.
• Maximise vessel availability by monitoring usage and servicing requirements.
• Oversee drafting of technical requirements for annual maintenance contracts.
