Job summary

The Maritime Engineering Technical Superintendent – 15272 is a 6-month contracting role based in Portchester. The post is on site five days a week, with expenses paid for travel and overnight stays when visiting a shipyard or boatyard.

Essential qualifications include marine engineering experience and project management, STCW III/2 or III/3, Chief Engineer or equivalent, and strong knowledge of Class, Flag, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code and ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• Marine engineering experience and knowledge.
• Proven project management experience.
• STCW certificate of competency III/2 or III/3.
• Chief Engineer or equivalent marine engineer.
• Knowledge of working in an engineering capacity on maritime vessels.
• Strong knowledge of Class, Flag, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code and ISO requirements.
