Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Maritime Engineering Technical Superintendent to lead on-site marine engineering activities at Portchester and potentially at shipyards. Role includes coordinating projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting vessel operations.

Candidate will have extensive marine engineering and project management experience, with STCW III/2 or III/3 certification and a Chief Engineer or equivalent background. On-site work with travel/expenses as needed.

• Must have marine engineering experience and knowledge.
• Must have project management experience.
• STCW certificate of competency STCW III/2 or STCW III/3.
• Chief Engineer or equivalent, marine engineer.
• Knowledge of working in an engineering capacity on maritime vessels.
• Strong experience with Class, Flag, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code and ISO requirements.

Location: on site for 5 days per week, Portchester, potential to go to shipyard/boatyard with expenses paid for travel and overnight stays

MUST HAVE

• MARINE ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
• STCW certificate of competency STCW III/2 or STCW III/3.
• CHIEF ENGINEER OR EQUIVALENT, MARINE ENGINEER
• Knowledge of working in an engineering capacity, with or on maritime vessels (ideally different vessels)
• Strong experience and working knowledge of Class, Flag, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, the ISM Code and ISO requirements
