Job summary

Allstaff Manufacturing Division in Coatbridge is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager for a full-time fixed-term maternity cover, on-site in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. You will oversee end-to-end factory operations, from raw materials through to distribution, ensuring quality and on-time delivery while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, independent decision-making and a proven track record of improving production performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing, production or factory management role.
• Experience managing employees and day-to-day operations.
• Experience managing production schedules, quality and delivery performance.
• Sound understanding of health and safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Take full day-to-day responsibility for the operation and performance of the factory.
• Plan and control production activities to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Monitor workflow, capacity and resources to maximise efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and delays.
• Lead and develop factory workforce and health and safety culture.
