Job summary

The Bainbridge Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance teams and ensure cost-effective, quality repairs across the property portfolio. You will manage budgets, supervise technicians, and maintain high standards of safety and curb appeal.

You will perform a wide range of repairs, coordinate preventative maintenance, and partner with the Property Manager to renew leases with well-maintained units. Strong English, math, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on maintenance experience and be able to perform plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair tasks.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and managing budgets.
• Fluent reading and writing in English; basic math skills for budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train service staff; ensure all maintenance requests are addressed promptly.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and safety.
• Oversee turnover: prepare units for rent promptly and inspect make-readies.
• Obtain competitive bids for maintenance expenses and manage departmental budget within guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to operating procedures and local codes for permitting and safety.
