Job summary

DO & CO group in the United Kingdom seeks a fully skilled maintenance engineer to join our high-performance team in a fast-paced food production facility. You will provide technical support across manufacturing and packaging lines to maximise equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and contribute to OEE improvements. A proactive, safety-conscious mindset is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-moving manufacturing (food, beverage or FMCG) preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities across mech/electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on production/packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults promptly.
• Support line optimisation and process improvements to boost OEE.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet targets.
• Keep accurate maintenance and downtime records in the CMMS.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
