Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a skilled multi‑skilled Engineer to maintain, service and optimise machinery across our Rochdale food manufacturing facility. You will work on a rotating early and late shift schedule in a full‑time permanent role, ensuring production runs safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands‑on engineering expertise, strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with a strong commitment to safety.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair factory equipment to optimise OEE and meet technical standards.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Implement preventative and predictive maintenance with root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Log maintenance activities via CMMS and manage spares with cross‑functional teams.
