Job summary

Wilson James is recruiting for a Logistics Operative at the Hinkley Point C site in Somerset. This permanent, site-based role offers a 40.25-hour week with a shift pattern of 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off (Days 06:00 - 18:00).

The position includes a bus allowance, free Park & Ride, and comprehensive benefits. You will support with signage installation, waste management, stock control, and contractor coordination while upholding HPC safety and conduct standards.

Qualifications

• CITB Operative H&S test required before start.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to understand Safe Systems of Work.
• Ability to think quickly in unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a good work ethic and routine.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install wayfinding and emergency signage.
• Waste management and segregation.
• General housekeeping.
• General receipt and stock control of consumables and equipment.
• Provide general support to contractors across HPC.
• General vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensure HPC code of conduct is followed at all times.
