Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer based in Milton Keynes, responsible for ensuring stable IT operations across assigned sites and providing hands-on support. The role involves engaging with management and coordinating with central IT teams to enhance IT services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT support and professional fluency in English. Occasional travel to other UK locations will be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in IT support, infrastructure or workplace services.
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, workplace technologies and network environments.
• Experience working within structured IT service environments (ITIL knowledge beneficial).
• Ability to coordinate effectively between business users and central IT teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with local management and stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and reliable local IT operations across assigned sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support where an on-site presence is required.
• Act as the local IT On-Site Services Consultant, representing Global IT.
• Coordinate effectively with the Service Desk and central IT teams.
• Support the implementation of IT standards, governance and security practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services.
