Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH is looking for an IT Support Specialist located in Jersey, UK Offshore Islands. The ideal candidate will provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution, focusing on troubleshooting various IT issues and maintaining ticket updates.

This on-site role requires several years of experience in the IT field and a valid work permit. Key responsibilities include supporting Windows and macOS, working with third-party vendors for AV issues, and providing hardware support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid work permit in Jersey, UK.
• Several years of experience in the IT field.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
