Job summary

K2 Recruitment is seeking a Field Technician to join our client on a temporary basis in the United Kingdom. The role involves visiting sites to carry out repairs, maintenance and warranty work, delivering strong customer service and ensuring high standards.

You will work 40 hours per week with overtime available, paid at £14.00 per hour. Based between Bicester and Aylesbury, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Overnight stays are occasional but not common.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Field Technician or similar role.
• Good practical skills across a range of maintenance tasks.
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• Confident working independently and managing site visits.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to assess and resolve warranty issues.
• Carry out general maintenance and repair work.
• Adjust and realign doors where required.
• Repair cracked plaster and internal finishing defects.
• Investigate and rectify leaking windows and related issues.
• Complete inspections and ensure work meets company standards.
• Travel to customer locations with occasional overnight stays when necessary.
