Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder in Watford is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician for a full-time, field-based role. You will inspect, maintain, repair and install equipment at customer sites across the UK, often requiring travel and overnight stays. A company van is provided.

Role involves 48 hours per week (40 site, 8 travel) with start times around 8:00am and regular site travel including London, the South East and across the UK.

Qualifications

• Essential: practical experience in inspection, reporting, maintenance, fitting or installation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, maintenance, repairs and installation works at customer sites.
• Produce site reports with findings, work completed, quotes and recommendations.
• Identify defects and repair options, prioritising repair over replacement where possible.
• Read RAMS before visiting site to ensure safety and scope are understood.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, PPE and vehicle stock.
• Complete timesheets and reports within 24 hours of work.
