Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a hands-on, field-based specialist to support on-site solar PV and battery storage installations. You’ll work with installers, housing associations, and delivery teams across the UK to ensure designs, kit lists, and sign-off criteria are understood and applied.

You will spend significant time on-site with installers and partners, helping them meet technical standards, troubleshoot issues, and collect practical feedback to improve future guides and training.

Qualifications

• Experience with solar PV and battery storage installations.
• Electrical background with BS 7671 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on on-site support during live installs and troubleshooting.
• Bridge gaps by ensuring guides and instructions are clear for installers.
• Prepare teams for success by confirming technical requirements and kit lists.
• Collaborate with housing associations, installers and delivery teams to resolve on-site issues.
