Job summary
RES is seeking a Solar & Battery Storage Technician to perform field-based O&M on MW-scale plants across Dorset/Bournemouth. You will ensure safety, quality and performance within budget while working within our specialist O&M team.
You will be a qualified electrician with HV competencies, ready for on-call weekends and occasional travel. A company vehicle and digital tools are provided to support your role and training toward AP/SAP status.
Qualifications
- Qualified electrician with HV experience and DC/AC knowledge.
- Experience with MW-scale power plants is essential.
- Familiarity with SCADA, data monitoring and communications networks.
Responsibilities
- Follow health and safety requirements and improve safety standards.
- Maintain Authorised Person status through training and experience.
- Perform planned inspections and maintenance on solar PV and battery storage plants.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, sensors and communications.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and keep maintenance records.
