Job summary

nGeneration is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, refurbish and maintain EPoS hardware and related IT equipment at retail and hospitality sites across the UK. The role requires hands-on hardware repair, software troubleshooting and strong customer interactions to ensure seamless service delivery.

You'll travel to client sites, perform on-site equipment swaps, set up Wi‑Fi, document actions, and sign off with the client.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT support experience (preferred)
• 1 year EPOS experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to install, refurbish and maintain IT equipment at retail/hospitality locations.
• Perform on-site equipment swap-out services to minimise downtime for the client.
• Set up Wi-Fi devices and identify faults with data network cables on-site.
• Document troubleshooting steps and obtain client sign-off before task completion.
