Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Staffordshire and the wider Midlands, delivering on-site service to manufacturing customers for an established lubricants and metalworking fluids producer. The role covers fault finding, monitoring fluid systems, sampling and advising on best practice, with full training provided.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with travel within the region; a company van, pension and IT equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service, maintenance or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing and monitoring of metalworking fluids on customer sites.
• Record, analyse and report results using cloud software.
• Take corrective action to maintain fluid performance and production efficiency.
• Support fluid changeovers, product trials and CNC machine prep.
• Build relationships with customers and provide technical support.
• Suggest improvements to operational performance.
