Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is partnering with a well-established manufacturer to recruit two Field Service Engineers for the West Midlands. The role covers on-site support to manufacturing customers, ensuring optimal performance of metalworking fluids and related products.

You will work Monday to Friday days, with a company van and full training, and there is a clear path to progression as a Technical Service Specialist.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• Basic IT skills (Word/Excel)
• Proactive and organized problem solving
• Willingness to learn a specialist technical discipline through structured training
• Experience with metalworking fluids advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to manufacturing customers across the West Midlands
• Maintain optimal performance from metalworking fluids and related products
• Record, analyse and report test results using cloud software
• Support fluid changeovers, product trials and CNC preparation activities
• Build strong relationships with customers as a trusted technical contact
• Integrate with a major customer site’s operation and technical teams
