Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support manufacturing customers across the Midlands. You will split time between a major site (three days per week) and other locations, traveling within working hours.

A company van and full training are provided, along with a pension scheme and a 40-hour week. Ideal candidates will have field service or maintenance experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or manufacturing maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Midlands.
• Basic IT skills (MS Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to manufacturing customers.
• Conduct routine testing and monitoring of metalworking fluids on customer sites.
• Record and report results using a bespoke cloud-based software system.
• Support fluid changeovers, product trials and CNC machine preparation activities.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical contact.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to improve operational performance.
