Job summary

Winsearch is seeking an experienced Installation Manager to oversee multiple installation projects for a leading aluminium systems and façade specialist. You will manage installation teams, subcontractors, programme delivery, quality standards and client relationships on site across the UK.

You will lead site teams, ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence, with responsibility for RAMS, reports and coordination with design, manufacturing and project management to resolve site issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Installation Manager, Site Manager or Contracts Supervisor within fenestration, curtain walling, façade or architectural glazing.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and glazing systems.
• Experience managing multiple installation projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
• Experience managing subcontract installation teams.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of allocated installation projects.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to specification.
• Manage multiple installation projects simultaneously across various locations.
• Produce weekly project reports covering status, labour, plant and progress.
• Ensure documentation complies with ISO procedures.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure works meet drawings and client requirements.
• Lead and coordinate site installation teams and subcontractors.
• Set daily and weekly objectives for operatives and teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, productivity and safety.
• Attend client and main contractor meetings as required.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure RAMS and health & safety requirements are followed.
• Monitor labour productivity and resource allocation.
• Manage site plant, access equipment and lifting gear.
• Coordinate material deliveries to maintain programme.
• Work with design, manufacturing and project management to resolve site issues.
• Keep site records, quality docs and project files up to date.
