Think Specialist Recruitment is recruiting a Facilities & Health and Safety Coordinator for Hemel Hempstead. The role combines facilities management, health & safety and front-of-house, ensuring the head office operates safely, compliantly and smoothly.

You will oversee contracts, manage safety audits, liaise with contractors and suppliers, and maintain records to demonstrate compliance. A hands-on, ownership-minded candidate with excellent communication will thrive in this busy site.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management is essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, hands-on team player with ownership.
• Good Excel skills and experience with business systems.
• Full driving licence and own car.

Responsibilities

• Oversee office contracts and facilities management.
• Organise quotes, budgets and contractor bookings for PM schedule.
• Be the main contact for contractors on site.
• Manage security, fire and intruder alarm responsibilities.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and inspections.
• Run fire drills, alarm tests and PAT testing.
• Maintain safety policies and compliance with legislation.
• Keep records of health and safety activity and performance.
• Welcome visitors and manage deliveries.
