D7 Recruitment is partnering with a growing engineering and distribution business to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager. This hands-on, client-facing role supports engineering and service teams across customer sites throughout the UK.

You will drive H&S standards, work with operational teams and client stakeholders to improve performance, strengthen compliance and build a positive safety culture. This is not desk-based; you will be out in the business, influencing people on-site.

Formación

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with operational teams and client representatives.
• Ability to influence managers and employees to improve safety ownership.
• Comfortable working in client and operational environments.

Responsabilidades

• Providing practical Health & Safety advice and support to teams on client sites.
• Coaching and influencing managers to improve safety ownership.
• Conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Investigating accidents and driving corrective actions.
• Preparing RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Ensuring contractor/site documentation is in place before work begins.
• Producing reports and improvement actions for stakeholders.
• Travelling to client sites across the UK as required.
