Job summary

Kier Group is recruiting a Working Electrical Supervisor to join the Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme team, based on site in East Hyde, Luton. You will oversee electrical installations on Thames Water sites, supervise Kier electricians, and ensure compliance and testing are carried out to required standards.

You should have a full driving licence, relevant JIB/ECS cards, and qualifications in electrical installations with safety and testing experience in the Water Industry.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and professional electrical cards required.
• Experience in the Water Industry and with safety procedures.
• Electrical installation knowledge including testing and compliance.
• Relevant regulatory qualifications and inspections experience.
• Understanding of M&E plant and sewer/water treatment context.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage electrical systems, including temporary and permanent works and testing.
• Supervise Kier electricians and apprentices, ensuring standards are met.
• Produce and review RAMS and project ITPs, maintain documentation in CDE.
• Provide safe LV isolations and issue Permit to Work and Isolation Certificates.
• Conduct electrical audits and oversee contractor testing to Thames Water standards.
