Job summary

Comxps Ltd is recruiting for a permanent 2nd line IT support role based in Birmingham. You will work on-site five days a week and participate in an on-call rota with an on-call allowance.

DV clearance is required or candidates must be prepared to undergo clearance prior to starting, with sponsorship provided by the client. Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support environment, ideally at 2nd Line Support level.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills, handling escalations from the Service Desk.
• Ability to diagnose issues, resolve where possible, and escalate complex incidents to senior engineers.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests using ITSM practices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues; escalate to senior engineers as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of applications, infrastructure and processes.
• Work in a highly secure IT environment and meet SLAs.
