Job summary

HS2 Ltd in London requires a Construction Assurance Manager (CAM) to support constructability assurance and provide specialist advice through the construction lifecycle, ensuring safety and contract compliance.

You will work with HS2 Project Managers and QAHSSE Compliance to maintain high standards and deliver project outcomes within U&A and environmental requirements. A degree in engineering or building science is preferred, with experience on major civil/rail projects.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in engineering, construction or building science or equivalent experience.
• Experience on large-scale Civil Engineering projects including rail or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NEC3 Contract and Supervisor responsibilities and related compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Construction Assurance Manager with Constructability Assurance.
• Provide specialist advice and expertise at all stages of construction to assist in administering the contract.
• Coordinate safety tours and promote HS2 safety practices.
• Support NEC3 Supervisor in discharging duties under the Contract.
• Support NEC3 Project Manager in discharging duties under the Contract.
• Assist in assuring that works adhere to U&A, Environmental Minimum Requirements and Code of Construction Practice.
