Job summary

CRNet in Brentwood, Essex is seeking a full-time, on-site caretaker to join our residential team at Pilgrims Hall Christian Ministry and Retreat Centre. This role supports guest arrivals, departures and events, and serves as the on-site handyman for maintenance and decorating tasks.

You will handle day-to-day maintenance, occasional painting projects to keep retreat rooms and the main house in good condition, and assist the grounds team when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience or skills that would meet the job description including maintenance skills, the ability to work well as part of a team and to interact well with people, flexibility, resourcefulness, reliability and an attitude of service.

Responsibilities

• Support the residential team with guest arrivals, departures and events.
• Operate as the onsite handyman/decorator.
• Day-to-day maintenance issues to be dealt with.
• Occasional painting and decorating projects to keep retreat rooms and main house in good condition.
• Assist the grounds maintenance team when required.
