Job summary

Exclusive Household Staff is seeking a practical Handyman to support the upkeep of a Georgian home and its 150+ acre estate in Berkshire. This live-in role involves assisting with maintenance, gardening support, and general estate tasks within a friendly team.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience, be reliable and adaptable, and fluent in English. Accommodation is provided, with typical hours and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman, maintenance, groundskeeping or similar practical experience.
• Hands-on approach with confidence undertaking varied tasks.
• Reliable, proactive, adaptable with a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• General handyman duties and property maintenance
• Grounds and garden upkeep, support Farm Manager and Head Gardener
• Assist Estate Manager with maintenance and repairs
• Maintain estate facilities, including gym and indoor swimming pool
• Seasonal tasks, including log preparation
• Car and window cleaning
• Provide general all-round support across the estate as required
